Jake Thomas just can't play at this level. Buzz can only see so much more than we can. He's a good seventh option off the bench.

No we are playing awful.  The officiating has been poor, but we have been dreadful.  Wisconsin is good, but top 20-25 good, we have barely been top 100 good this game.

Come on, the Badgers are a top team in the nation right now.  We're not playing great, but the game isn't over.

Case and point why Pre-Season Rankings are a joke. MU too high, Villanova too low, Michigan too high, etc?

MU lost too much and I fell into the trap called hope.

Expectations should have been WAY lower and thus our horrific play could be put into better context.

The problems run far and wide.

that is perhaps most disappointing to me in this game....so many loose balls, offensive rebounds, second chances and hustle plays...that is usually our trademark.

I do wonder if Mayo, upperclassman and 2nd leading scorer, letting his team down again and getting benched for a violation has some impact on overall attitude, energy and juju for this team

Huh?  I didn't say that!   They may give as much of a sh3t as any game but get let down by a team mate and they realize they are not at full strength and it can be a downer

so when do we stop saying:

1)  Why are we surprised we lost to a better team (seems like we faced a lot of "better teams" this year), maybe MU is not good in reality
2)  We can win with De Wilson and Jake Thomas (currently contributing 3 whole pts to the game vs Bucky)
3)  The "lessons" now build for March - there is now March at this progression, this is a team lucky to be .500 in the BE
4)  not sure what to say about Mayo
