Huge win for the conference cannot believe the ending if you saw it archidiacono had sucked all night and hit it when it counted!
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

Eldon

Great game!  Signature win of the conference so far

Norm

Yep, Archi-whatever his name is only makes one shot all night - and its a 3 for the win!

Good win for the conference.

Boy, Butler was close to the huge upset, and Nova knocks it down.  Pretty fantastic win for them.

Great game, watched most of the second half when I wasn't watching Creighton. Three big games for the conference today, Butler and Creighton both made comebacks to get close but neither could finish the job. 'Nova had the lead most of the way only to give it up, then get Arcidiacono to drill the three to win. Great game, great win for the conference.

One thing that's for sure, this is going to be a really tough league. Creighton, 'Nova, and Georgetown all figured to be in the mix for the league crown, but Providence, Xavier, Butler, and St. John's have also all looked solid. Gonna be a real dogfight for bids.

well said Brewcity, I didn't think Nova was going to be tough this year.  Wow was I wrong.

If Creighton is going to take 43% of their shots as threes, they damn well better be able to rebound.  Bad game plan to think they can outrun SDST.  Home will be good for the BlueJays, but they are clueless about the rigors of the Big East on the road.  Worked well against ASU and in the MVC to run and gun, but they need more game than Dougie Mac when on the road.

Creighton is usually a high 3FGA/FGA team that doesn't rebound its misses welll, but 43% is certainly high.. just highlights the fact that they are very beatable when their deep balls aren't falling.

San Diego State is a good team, but the Blue Jays will probably drop a couple of stinkers this season because of bad 3FG% nights. It's just how they're built / how they play.

Rough game today for Jamail's buddy James Bell, but good to see him healthy and playing a ton. Jo Jo to MU??

Great win for the conference. Kansas was way overranked at #2 (top 15 at best IMHO) but still great news.
