nice article on the this years top pg's. They got james at 5, which i thought was pretty fair. Anything higher would have been a reach though...

Imagine if he could shoot for a reasonable percentage. I saw him at Marq Madness, and if I recall correctly he only took one outside shot and seemed to pass up some opportunities. I understand it is just the beginning of the season, but hopefully he has developed some confidence in his outside shot.

Having seen Acker play in high school and Sat night, he is going to create a lot of excitement this year. He can't finish like James, but he is great at creating shot opportunities. He's also a pest on defense.

If Greg Paulus is the #10th best pg in the country, then I'm the #12th best forward.

Pretty sure that every single Dook fan would disagree with that ranking.  There were large stretches of last year that he was getting benched.

I actually like seeing him pass up some shots.

I wouldn't describe DJ as selfish or shot happy, but his shot selection isn't always the best. Just because he can get open doesn't mean he should be shooting it. There should be enough weapons on this team to allow him to become more of a distributor.

But, I agree that he needs to be confident in his game.
