MU lands shooting guard
By Michael Hunt of the Journal Sentinel Oct. 12, 2013 8:10 p.m.

Ahmed Hill, a 6-foot-5 senior shooting guard from Aquinas High School in Augusta, Ga., has given his verbal commitment to play for Marquette next season.

"I will be a Golden Eagle next year at Marquette University!!" he said on Twitter. "Thank you God for blessing me and my family with this opportunity."

Hill averaged 33 points a game last season as a junior and has scored more than 2,000 points. He was offered scholarships by Missouri, Indiana, Florida State and Florida. It is another major coup for Marquette coach Buzz Williams, who reeled in one of the nation's top recruiting classes for 2013.

A natural shooting guard, Hill should fit right in at Marquette with his rangy, athletic style of play. Even with consecutive seasons in the Sweet 16 and the Elite 8, the Golden Eagles have lacked shooters. Depending on how he develops, HIll could be what they've needed at the two-guard position.

You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.
