Pressing Duke's Buttons
« on: November 21, 2006, 04:31:31 PM »
Against TTU, we came out pressing, including the very first posession.  It was effective and we would have continued to do so if the score were closer.  Crean wanted to rest his guy's legs for an all out blitz tonight.  Heck, McNeal only played 22 mins yesterday.

We can truly go ten deep with this team and I look for us to use frequent pressure to force the pace.  Duke wants this game in the 60s or low 70s.  We want 80s.  Let's make them run, test their stamina or test their bench.  Remember, they played last night too.  Not guaranteeing it will work, but we have a much better chance winning 84-81 than 65-62.

BTW - yes I realize how corny the thread title is.
