This really doesn't seem like something Gary Williams would do. But, hey, he won a national championship!

It takes a somewhat twisted mind to rip on Crean for something another coach did.

I would be surprised.  It would be hard to drive a car onto the Al floor.

maxpower773

maybe if it were one of those golden hummers though he could do it by driving through the windows........   ::)

Even for PRN, this is stooping low to take a swipe at TC.

Sounds like PRN was dead on... Crean rode out on an ATV!!

ATV=Liability?

Crean flying around the court on that thing...then dunking over it?  Messing up a jump and breaking an ankle, season over.

Wade, still recovering from off-season shoulder and knee surgeries, was clearly at ease being back at his alma mater. He spent the scrimmage lounging on the scorer's table, offering words of advice to the Golden Eagles not long after giving Crean some grief for driving out onto the court during introductions on an ATV.

Holy crap, Tom Crean tried to dunk over an ATV?

Oh wait, you mean Wesley Matthews attempted to dunk over an ATV after he's cleared ball carts and family members? I believe the announcer said in the interest of safety, they were not going to let Matthews try again.

The instant I saw Crean riding the ATV, I immediately thought "uh oh.  PRN is not gonna like this."

Yeah, come on, PRN.  Say something mean about Crean.

I arrived late, so I missed he introductions. But how can you not appreciate having a head coach who still knows how to have fun.

Reminds me of the Karate Kid.

PuertoRicanNightmare

The ATV doesn't bother me. Much more subdued than the Gary Williams thing.

Those karate outfits are a different story. Wow.

mutpm

PRN, you do realize why they were wearing them, don't you?

PuertoRicanNightmare

Knights04

Why wouldn't Crean wear the outfit? It would only seem to fit the "All for one, One for all" quote on the back of the MM shirts. Why would he have his team do something he wouldn't do himself. Plus, it's just everyone having a little fun on a night to have some fun.

The team? Yes. The coach? No.

If you look at the photo gallery from the MU website it looks as if Crean is taking part in some of the exercises that the players are involved in.

tomcrean4pres

Was anyone else a little scared of those guys breaking boards?? I know they have been training but i was just waiting for one of them to screw up and end up snapping there wrist or something
