Hoops rumors say McNeal walked away from a $884,000 contract...so hopefully overseas he making over a Million.

Might be a case of taking a little less to play a lot more.

From what I hear, he's going to be making significantly more money in China.

Rather then puffing a chest, give us a dollar amount.

As I'm neither his agent not a Chinese sportswriter, I don't know. I heard he took an offer that was significantly bigger. Sorry if that's not good enough for you.

Problem with playing in China is that no matter what the contract says, the teams only pay you if they feel like it and they rarely pay the contract amount.  I hope Jerel doesn't fall into this trap, and wish him all the best to use this as a springboard to a well-deserved career of pro-hoops wherever he's appreciated.

The Jazz beat writer's tweet reporting Jerel got a big contract overseas was quoted in this thread two days prior to your post. Without a dollar amount, yours did nothing more then state the obvious whilst making you feel "in the know".

For example, from what I hear, Vander has signed a partially guaranteed deal with the 76ers. See? Useless.
