According to one Blue Ribbon College Basketball Yearbook.    Astounding.  How many stars was he again?  Thank goodness MU got him and not that 'True Big' Deshonte Riley.      This can also be a calling card for Buzz going forward.   "....this is what Gardner looked like as a senior in high school.  This is what Gardner looked like at a senior at MU.   If you put in the time and effort, you, too, can make this large a leap".....

I admit that I am not as much a fan of DG as some others are.   But this is big.  Congrats DG.   Knock 'em dead.

BTW, same publication as MU at #16.

Pretty cool but doesn't mean much.  Now if he's a All American after the season then you can sell it to recruits.  But I don't think Pre-Season AA's really have a lot of pull in a recruit's mind.

Well, you can't really tell a recruit right now about the end of this season. But you can cite this. Use everything you got I always say, and its much better than NOT having a preseason all american.

I don't think Calipari talks about anything with his recruits other than his history of producing lottery picks.

Agree. Talking history is way more convincing.

Of course, being head coach at Kentucky affords him that option....

....if Buzz is limited to selling that, then his conversations with recruits will be short.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Yeah--and you wonder if the subject of sanctions at prior schools ever comes up. Likely not.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."
