From MU Facebook. Thanks a nice surprise!
I believe its a 2 hour FS1 program highlighting all 10 BE teams.  What you will see are a few cameo shots and interviews.....

That's interesting. It's made to sound like it'll be live during our haunted hoops event. I'd be surprised if the other schools happened to have events that same night, too.

I posted this a week or two ago. FS1 is televising a Basketball tip off televising all 10 teams "Midnight Madness" events all on October 25th. SO all the schools are hosting their events on october 25th. I know for a fact Georgetown, Providence, Seton Hall, and St. John's are and they will all be included in this television program. It will be like what ESPN does cutting to different school's events every year.

So will this be our "Midnight Madness" or will it be Haunted Hoops?  Or am I totally misinterpreting what event will be televised.  You think it would be the MM one if it's going to be televised like this.

Madness is on 10/11.  Totally different events.  See gomarquette.com under Schedule.

Yep, with Madness being on the 11th and this being a live event something is amiss. Maybe we'll just do some live event TV stuff to get more people to Haunted Hoops this year since Madness is always packed anyway?

Ok I guess you're having two events. Everyone else is just having one it seems. But the point is some basketball start of the season event will take place at all 10 schools and they're all going to be televised together cutting in and looking at each school.

I doubt Georgetown would not have a Midnight Madness on October 11 and wait 2 weeks.

Teams can begin practicing on September 27th this year. They changed the rules. Georgetown will start practicing then as will Marquette. These are just events for Fans and Recruits. They don't signify the start of practice anymore.

MU has had 2 events for quite some time.  First was a Madness event.  Then the Halloween event which is a Friday Fish Fry on campus with the team and coaches in attendance followed by an inta-squad scrimmage.  Same thing this year, with the TV coverage co-inciding with the Fish Fry event.
