It's ok, he was soft, wouldn't have fit into Buzz's system, didn't have the motor we need at MU....

top 30 player in the country at any position is a great get..., and we need a big.  Would have loved to have him.

Drat.   Who's next up?   Visit from the SA big guy next weekend.    Let's hope it stays hot so it feels like home.

Cmon man; we all know that the guy was soft, played on the perimeter did not like to mix it up, so we stopped recruiting him. Besides, we will "probably" snap up a quality big later on. Keep going hard for the guards.

We only stopped when he lost interest in us.  This is one we lost out on....very different than Paul White.

But you can keep pretending they are the same.

I drove past MU today and saw the campus with lots of freshman coming in to go to school.  I was wondering what do the students do in that cement jungle after they are left off?  Who
ever Buzz gets to MU is a god send.  You have to be a tremendous recruiter, that is for sure!

You're saying it's hard to find something to do in a big city? ::) Wow. Maybe you should stay in the suburbs.

Anyone ever notice that Willie doesn't think we recruit enough bigs ?-(

Well most bars per capita in the country so there's always a bar to go to.  No1 catholic party school so there's always something going on.  We're a mile and a half from the beach so there's that right now. There's the casino, paintball, indoor mountain biking, concerts, I have a ton more things. Done being a hater?

speaking of campus anyone know if Kampus foods closed and has that CVS opened?
Bring back FFP!!!

AlumKCof93

From what I understand, we lost out on Goodluck Okonoboh when he found out that Kampus Foods had closed and he did not receive any confirrmation for how soon CVS would open.

Building not razed just yet.  New apartments with CVS on first floor set to open in a year.

MuMark

We wanted Goodluck but he decided to go to a different school....nobody would say otherwise

This kid is visiting next week.....clearly the staff wants him.....hopefully the visit will go well and he will verbal...if not...life will go on and Buzz will try to find somebody else.....

Seriously Kampus Foods closed?  Man, they were always sooo nice, allowing you take a back pack in and load it up with a 30 rack of Busch light in the store so no one at Schroeder saw you doing it right outside their store.

swoopem

Yeah Pilarz is really boxing out all the underage drinkers. No more real underage bars or places to buy beer on campus. Now they'll have to go to westtown or national to get their fix.

I'd always walk around into the alley and load em into my back pack there.

Don't forget Real Chili, which is the only restaurant holdover left from my MU days.

I remember resorting to stopping by Dany's on a Thursday morning so I could sneak beer into McCormick before they started checking backpacks.

If they go off campus, they'd better watch out for intrepid JS reporter Don Walker.  "COLLEGE KIDS DRINKING AT NIGHTCLUBS AND BARS!" will scream the headlines, for sure.

Where is the indoor mountain biking? I must try it.
