A 6-10 kid who averaged 10 points at Kentucky last year, can shoot the 3 and has some inside moves is transferring because of the big recruiting class coming in.

He went to a Jesuit high school and considered Gonzaga before choosing Kentucky. Gonzaga is the being called the logical place for his services, but a guy like him would sure help our transition from Gardner/Otule to, hopefully, Diamond Stone.

I wonder if Buzz has any history with him and/or has made any contact.

He is transferrring now and redshirting this coming year. He is not likely to pay his way at MU for his redishirt year.

Forgive me, I'm reading while sleepy!

Rumor has it that Buzz occasionally has found a way to bring in a player he really wants because scholarships that weren't there suddenly materialize.

I know it's 99.9% sure to not happen, but a girl can dream, right?

I mean yeah, that sounds cruel, but it makes no sense to keep a walk-on-caliber player on scholarship if an athletic big man who was able to average 10 points at Kentucky is available.

Again, not that it's gonna happen, but really.

Buzz isn't going to pull a scholarship from someone that he talked out of transferring just a couple months ago.

There were some alleged work ethic issues with Wiltjer anyway.

You're probably right about both of these things. I'm just saying that stuff happens.
