Dec 20: vs New Mex in Vegas
Dec 31: at Creighton

Any confirmation of these or any other games?

This just might be Duane's first college game, which comes against a great point guard defender. I would expect Derrick to play a lot in this one.

ASU will return the trip to Milwaukee in 2014-15. Marquette has been a top-30 RPI team in six of the past eight seasons, including No. 12 in 2012-13 when it reached the Elite Eight, and has advanced to the Sweet Sixteen in each of the past three seasons.

It has made made eight straight NCAA Tournaments, the sixth-best current streak in the nation. Only Kansas (24), Duke (18), Michigan State (16), Gonzaga (15) and Wisconsin (15) have better current marks. The Golden Eagles also have posted eight straight 20-win seasons.

If MU is opening with Creighton AND the "everyone plays on Day 1" is still on the board, then MU-Creighton has to be the main event game.

No, two different things. MU was in talks with a H/H with UCLA.

Georgetown/Villanova would easily trump MU/Creighton as the main event. Don't know if the leauge is planning that as the main kickoff, but they're stupid if they aren't.

Think about it--two classic Big East former national champions in their first matchup in the new version of the league?   

You want to connect this new league to former Big East greatness, then this HAS to be the game.   Hands down this would get more positive national attention for the league than trying to hype anything involving Creighton.
