And thus was born "The Walk of Shame"

You are so funny!

Sometimes missing by inches could make everything better for the greater good.

Go onto any large NBA forum today and you'll find a thread about Wade's elbow he through. It's about a 50/50 split on whether he should be suspended tonight, not just upgraded to a flagrant. You'll also find a large group of people who believe he's a dirty player and many who don't think he's a superstar.

There's obviously a fair share of people who believe he's not dirty and is a superstar (mutually exclusive). You can choose to believe they are all Chicago fans if you'd like.

I'm not talking about the greater NBA fan base, I'm talking about MU fans who now see Wade in a negative light. It's pretty common for many sports fans to hate on great players from other teams. I would assume it's pretty rare for fans of a college program to suddenly turn against their greatest pro alum. That's why I am curious to find out if there is a common thread here that may cause you all to suddenly get sick of Wade.

So, are you a Bulls fan? It's a simple question.

Wade has fallen as a 'great' player, which is obvious as he plays this series. Too many minutes on those knees.

So let me understand you correctly. You are suggesting that if the two AK 47 rounds that hit me in the back in Afghanistan had been a few inches over and killed me that it would have made everything better?

You are beneath contempt.

No, this guy "PTM" was not. He was referencing a war wound, suggesting it would have been better had the enemy fire killed an American service member. He is as despicable as those anti-abortion morons who protest Fallen Warrior funerals for the sake of publicity.

I would love to take that guy to a military hospital and let him see how funny war wounds are. There is not the slightest dignity or honor in his statement. I wonder if he would have the balls to say that to any service member's face?

No, I'm a NBA fan. Still love Wade

His minutes are catching up though.

Okay.

I disagree with your original point to some extent. I think he is still an elite player in the NBA, but his ability is probably a little lower than it was at his peak. Honestly, I think it's really hard to tell how good Wade is, when he shares the court with the best player in the world every night. I would still call him great though.

So if fans say its true it must be true.  All that proves to be is that 50% are either idiots or hate Wade.  I could not care less about Wade in the NBA.  Watched that game live.  Live and with the replay it looked like Stevenson stepped in front he kind of euro-stepped to the right to avoid him and pushed off with his forearm to make sure he didn't hurt himself or Stevenson.

Maybe he did it intentionally, who knows, but to come to that conclusion from the actual footage requires that you had presupposed that Wade is dirty or you are psychic.

+1 well said actually. I just don't think he's the Top NBA Guy Lebron signed with anymorel

I see. Yes I am a Bulls fan, though my growing distaste for Wade goes back before he "spurned" Chicago in the off-season if that's your theory. The year after he dominated on the Olympic team was when he first started to annoy me, though at that point I would have still taken him on the Bulls along with Bosh. I never wanted Lebron, though and I would only take Bosh on my team of the "big 3" based purely on personality.

Well then it's a good thing you aren't involved in making personnel decisions for your Bulls. If you were they would continue to be perennial "also rans".

Can you honestly say that Wade would annoy you if he played for your team?

onepost

I'm also sick of Wade and think he's very immature on the court. So you've got my backing.

Well Onepost, please take it under advisement that many of us are also sick of the sick of Wade whiners. But hey, it is an opinion, and we should all be happy that we live in a country where we can still have one and voice it publically, but anonymously. Happy Memorial Day. And remember our fallen!
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

I'm a bucks fan and I would say yes. There are plenty of Bucks players who I find arrogant or dirty. Considering I would want to see Wade succeed due to his MU connection, I don't think my feelings will change if he played for the bucks

Any of those players also happen to be the best player ever to come out of your favorite college program, or happen to be one of the top two players on a championship caliber team?

Plenty of people hated Jordan when he was the best player on the planet, and for good reason. Now, how many Bulls fans got sick of Jordan and his antics? How many of those same Bulls fans hated Isaiah Thomas, Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, etc.? See where I'm going with this? If Wade were winning championships in his home town, I find it hard to believe that those home town fans would be sick of his whining and "dirty play".

Gregg Doyel must be a Bulls fan.  ::)

http://www.cbssports.com/general/blog/gregg-doyel/22311531/way-of-wade-flopping-dirty-plays-for-the-win

Doyel is paid to have eyeballs on his article.  Calling Wade a dirty player brings in eyeballs.  Saying he is a good player does nothing.

Which article do you write?
