Tums Festival

What you're referring to as "childish play" is more likely his reaction to getting constantly beat down and dinged up all the time. By your standards he's not allowed to get frustrated from time to time. Dwyane Wade is as classy a guy as there is in pro sports, and we're lucky he's part of the Marquette community.

I remember seeing a story on ESPN many years back where he visited a sick boy at his house and then had the kid and his family at a Heat playoff game as his guest. During the time Wade was at the kid's house, he was wearing a Marquette warm up outfit.
"Every day ends with a Tums festival!"

Are you kidding? Is that Star Jones? Wade could not be that desperate for poontang. Then again, I have been cautioned to not believe everything I read, so I choose not to believe this.

The picture shown was prior to a massive weight loss.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Givin' Jones the one-eyed snake was no where near as embarassin' as rockin' IU shorts.

A man may change his pants but he can never expunge the repugnance of a loathsome encounter. Show me the man who has not cringed in pain, anger and humiliation at the memory of discommodious companionship. The prism of alcohol or forlorn circumstance often elevates the cheap and tawdry into sublime artistry.

You guys realize the entire basis of the Star Jones rumor is because the two stood next to each other briefly in the stands at a tennis match right?

Wade is the best thing to happen to MU in 35+ years and there is no close second.

Yea, but that's not nearly as funny

I'd put Buzz's arrival at #1, Wade at #2.

I agree, but again, that does not mean his behaviors cannot be questioned. I understand the opinion that Wade is a fantastic human if you don't watch the NBA because, again, I agree he's great off the court, but on the court he throws embarrassing temper tantrums and to deny that is asinine (his flying elbow in the last game for example).

I wanted a gauge of the Marquette family's opinion on Wade's current status and got one. I never had the intention to debate his impact for Marquette as that would be equally stupid. I appreciate the responses.

I'd reverse the two at this point, but Buzz has the opportunity to pass him if he takes us to multiple final fours, stays for another decade at least, and becomes a household name/college hoops legend.  I think the odds are actually fairly good that will happen (I'm as high or higher on Buzz as anyone), but as of right now I'd still say Wade.

Where does the moving van pulling up to the Crean residence in Mequon rate?

Haha I'm willing to give the van itself some credit for Buzz being here

Going after Hibbert head high is as low class as it gets.

Class is getting tatooed night after night, you stick it up the opponents azz with your on the court play.

No excuses.   I don't give 2 doodies what a player did for MU in the day.  Most of you are MU grads and know better.

Well thought out.  I have Wade #1 and Buzz #2 with a bullet.    :)

Oh, and I've got jefferyweewee on "ignore".
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

It's a good thing that Wade went after Lance Stephenson's head. Otherwise he might be considered low class.

You are forgetting Otule and his perceived NBA creer, shutting down Hibbert and others.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

gvetting tatooed night after night and sticking it up the opponents kielbabsa with court play has been Wade's entire career.

Go onto any large NBA forum today and you'll find a thread about Wade's elbow he through. It's about a 50/50 split on whether he should be suspended tonight, not just upgraded to a flagrant. You'll also find a large group of people who believe he's a dirty player and many who don't think he's a superstar.

There's obviously a fair share of people who believe he's not dirty and is a superstar (mutually exclusive). You can choose to believe they are all Chicago fans if you'd like.
