My daughter's graduating class (in Michigan) of 187 is sending 11 kids to Marquette.    I was stunned.   MU must be doing something right on their marketing.

Impressive. I trust your daughter is one of them? Congrats to her and best wishes for continued success!

Clamoring to get out of Detroit?   ;)

I tease...I've done plenty of business in Warren, Southfield, Farmington, Detroit proper, and all over the state.  I like Michigan.

Congrats to your daughter.

My daughter is not one of them.   MU didn't offer the major she wants.

Those parents probably all thought they were sending their kids to the U.P.

Grand Rapids Catholic Central.    6 going to ND, 8 going to UM, 20 going to MSU, 11 going to MU.   MU has the largest number of any school farther than an hour's drive away.

I know 5-6 kids who were in my class that went to Catholic Central, so it hasn't changed too much.
