One man's opinion dude, I did this one night when I was bored....is Dwayne Wade not liked in the Marquette community?  For the MVC, UIC seems like the top choice which I think is dumb.  No one cares about them in Chicago.  MVC is also looking at UMKC, Valpo and Loyola.  Horrible choices, I think the MVC is looking just to get into big markets.  Better choices would have been Belmont, Oral Roberts and Denver (although Denver supposedly turned them down).  As for the Big East poster, here are the wallpaper sizes if anyone wants to use them.

Not the best shot of Dwayne who is very fondly thought of in the Marquette community, and when they can the Indiana community, as well.  Didn't recognize him until you posted the wallpaper size.

Mikan is the more significant historical figure. By a lot. Aguirre isn't even that contemporary. He was at DePaul more than 30 years ago...a lot like some of us here!

Well, maybe Quentin Richardson then.  Just trying to encourage pictures that there is some chance others, especially high schoolers, would recognize.  There are a lot of bottles of finely aged wine on this message board, but I still bet that those who can recognize a picture of Mikan are definitely a very select group.

Nothing says no longer relevant like making Mikan the face of your college program.

Then....... make your own signature pic? I instantly knew that was Wade. I think that pic is a good mix of conference heritage and new blood. Pretty badass is you ask me. And this guy has been probably the most quality contributor from the relatively small pool of non-MU fans that post here.

I think that Jet915 is far more resilient and less fragile than you give him credit for.  Handling someone with kid gloves is one way of telling someone that they're not really a part of the community.

Yeah, but it's your opinion, not a fact. You really 1.) Think that's an unflattering pic of Wade and 2.) Take umbrage with the fact that a Mikan pic is used for DePaul? Really? Loyola Chicago to MVC is a positive for Porter Moser, who helped Majerus recruit many of the kids on SLU.
