This could be more like the Keno Davis to Providence scenario than Groce to Illinois.

USC wins the smokin coaches wives playoff. Him and Kiffin did real we'll for themselves. Pat Haden is no dummy, fun times in the AD's section

This.  The company as a whole at the time was "a $100M company", whether that's worth or just their annual revenue.  He only had a small share in it.  Is he a millionaire?  Yes.  But the difference between $157k per year and whatever USC is giving him is significant for him.

Reunite with Jamail, make less than any of his assistants do now.  Perfect!

It's privately held. He had a little more than 7%.

I think the rest of this thread should be dedicated to pics of his wife.  I'd guess that's a more interesting topic than discussing his net worth.

This could be more like the Keno Davis to Providence scenario than Groce to Illinois.

It is more like Groce than Keno, other than him going to the Pac-12 instead of the ACC.  Davis was an assistant for his father and took a single senior laden team, that had been around their whole career, to a great year.  Enfield was a respected assistant at FSU and then took over a miserable team and shaped them over two years.  His predecessor at FGCU is now coaching a D3 school with 600 students in MN.

This has been debunked and is not accurate.  He made a "modest investment" in a company and later sold part of his stake.  Like Jay Bee said, it's quite likely that Buzz (and many other high major coaches) could buy and sell Enfield many times over.

Gotcha.  Glad someone actually checked into it unlike Teo.

Bald Rediction-  With former Golden Eagle Jamail Jones coming off his one year transfer ineligibility, FGCU will be a Final Four team.

So, is this your first year following college basketball?
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

There's noting "bald" (or "bold" about this) - it's completely ridiculous.  A bold prediction entails at least some level of reasonableness/possibility...

Per ESPN: http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/9123661/usc-trojans-hire-fgcu-andy-enfield-men-hoops-coach

I'm confused by this.  Yes, he seems to have the credentials, but I'm amazed that winning two big games (yes, I know they're HUGE wins, but still only two nights of success, not two seasons) lands you a relatively prestigious job.

I can't imagine Enfield is even on USC's radar if FGCU loses on a last-second shot to Georgetown last Friday...

Really 3 nights as he beat Miami early in the year as well.

Enfield has been having nothing but big nights ever since he got Amanda to say "I do".

Why are brides smiling as they walk down the aisle?

They know they've given their last blow...
