Michigan leading 41 - 17 with 4 minutes left I the first half.

Of the three E8 games so far, the most competitive has been MU/Cuse!!

...?

Ohio State cut Wichita State's lead to 3 points within the last 2 minutes of the game.  They were right there.  Marquette was down 15 with 2 minutes left in the game.

Not to mention, what does it matter?  A 1 point loss is the same as a 21 point loss, especially in the NCAA Tournament.

DCWarriors04

Still 20 minutes of bball left, but at least we were down by less than 10 at the half.

Michigan has shooters who can actually hit an outside shot.  Hardaway, Burke, Robinson and Staukas.

Yes, freshman can make a difference, see Staukas and McGary.  See Duane Wilson and Johnson..........

Florida not dead yet.

I think Florida wins. They just have too many weapons.

brewcity77

When they are on their game, the Gators are the best team in the country. Better than Louisville, Duke, or Syracuse. But for some reason, they seem to lose focus at times. As good as they are on their game, they can be just as woeful when they aren't on their game. Not really sure what determines why they are sometimes so good and sometimes so bad, but it's nearly inexplicable that the same team that destroyed Wisconsin and Marquette could be so ineffective at times against Arkansas and Tennessee.

And Michigan doesn't??

Go Blue!

They do too. Really like McGary and wish he would have waited a few months to blow up. We may have had a chance with him. I want Michigan to win as well, I don't really like Florida. Im just amazed how easily Florida's guards get into the lane and are able to make 8ft jumpers.

ChicosBailBonds

KU really choked hard the other day, but Michigan took advantage of it.  They look great today.

Every time FL makes a run Blue comes roaring. Up twenty with a few to play? Michigan has this one in the bag. Michigan humiliated Kansas and if Blue plays like this next weekend they will slaughter Syracuse. I like Michigan to go all the way.

Michigan did not humiliate Kansas.  LOL.  An OT win in which KU missed key free throws down the end and had two unforced turnovers for UM even to get to OT.  Classic.

At any rate, the Harbaughs are happy....Michigan men.  Uncle Ed Martin is smiling from down under.

Michigan looked elite today. Will be a good game Saturday. Michigan should be able to shoot better than 15% from three like the other 4 teams Cuse played.

Michigan humiliated Kansas? Did you even watch that game? If not for Burke playing proctologist at the end Michigan would be watching this game on TV. They were the ones getting humiliated until Kansas gave it to them on a platter. UM played well today, but for some reason bad Florida showed up. I still think Syracuse has too much length for them. Big Teen got lucky to get 1 team through to the Final Four.

Guess Crean really showed that Michigan asst. coach, hey? Somethin' 'bout laughin' last.

Other team not showing up. Waiting for Duke now.

statnik

No way were we the most competitive team.  We played tight, a team unwilling to pass inside, and relied on perimeter shots.  No sugarcoating the game.

No.

Was happily in first in my pool until Florida and Duke crapped the bed.   Now just hoping for a top 8 finish.  My hopes lie on L Ville losing to Wichita State.   :-\

I was effing with Chico. The UofM - KU game was epic. Games like that are why we love March Madness.

Knowing we had the second closest final point spread makes me feel a little better about our result

Also, losing to a worthy opponent takes a lot of the sting out of defeat. I think the shame factor comes into play when you lose by more than 30, regardless of an adversary's quality.
