The stories that have been written about buzz the past 3 weeks have been amazing. While all mentioned he is the best coach we have had since Al, They all focused on how great he is as a human and how he is such a role model for his players. I hope buzz is here for the rest of his career.

Great compliment from DJ. And a not too subtle swipe at the guy who coached him in his first 3 years at MU.

Interesting swipe at that, considering Wade seems almost as attached to TC as he is to MU (granted, he never played for Buzz)

Yup

And some strong support from Dwade, Novak, Diener for that guy he took a swipe at.  Goes both ways I guess.  Go figure....I think he coached those guys 3 or 4 years.

Did DWade, Novak, or Diener have anything to say about Crean's antics in Ann Arbor?

I don't know.  They did have some positive things to say just in the last 5 days, post Ann Arbor.  I guess they know him a lot better than you do and they have made their decision about him as a coach, mentor, friend, etc.

Maybe you should question their judgment....sounds like a good idea.

I have no idea how Novak or Diener feel about Crean. Nor do you, actually!

I know they publicly support him.  They put their name behind that support.

Happy Easter Colonel.

I don't Twitter so I am assuming they have done so in support of The Bronzed Beast?

Have heard similar statements from Wes.  Pretty amazing how a guy that only (head) coached them 1 year had such and impact.  Great testament to Buzz, and perhaps a comment on a change in his predecessor.

I don't Twitter either, but that is correct as well as other mediums.

For example, on March 29th Diener said this to John Mercure on his WTMJ show.  (Glad he had his priorities straight to cheer for MU, by the way)

"Fmr Marq Guard @DienerTravis on our show: I love Tom Crean, but Im Marquette thru and thru. Couldnt have cheered for Indiana against MU"

Let me get this straight: Even though some people don't like Tom Crean, others do? My mind is being blown like a Syracuse ball boy.

I require at least 3 more pages on this, Chicos. On my desk by 8am please.

What about you? You know him and say he's a dick. Are you questioning the judgment of Wade?

I have never read any comments from Novak or Diener regarding Cream by the way.

forgetful

The difference for Wade, Diener and Novak is that Crean didn't abandon them, they know one college coach and he did right by them.

You see the same thing from kids from broken homes.  Father cheats on mother (or vice versa) and they are still a good person, because they didn't do it to them.

That does not make Crean a good coach or person, he just at least did right by them.

Yeah, it's crazy isn't.  Though in reading PRN, Lenny, Keefe, and others, it's impossible.  Crazy, huh.  LOL.  Next thing you know we'll be talking about what other players wore Isaiah Thomas jersey number after he left.
