Larkin was up all night sick
They couldn't practice because they had hurt players

Yup, Miami lost it, Marquette did nothing to win the game.

Keep feeding the fire, a-holes.

Heard that too...if only Larkin wasn't sick last night they would have pummeled us.  Wow, it a shock we still showed up.

TallTitan34

Maybe he caught the flu from Harangody.

Anybody check what the Miami Boards are using for excuses? they were so sure of a victory.

NotAnAlum

There is a lot of "tough loss but we had a great season" talk.  It really goes to show the value of having been there before.  If the team was like the fans they were satisfied with a sweet 16.

If Miami was Muhammad Ali last week, they were Sonny Liston this week.

Or perhaps Marquette was Larry Holmes.

Actually, I buy some of the excuses. The comment I made several times during the game was that Miami looked terribly unprepared. They absolutely did. Never really had a chance. Doesn't mean MU isn't good, or even better, but that thing was never close.

Markusquette

Not prepared?  Their fault.  They can have fun talking about excuses while MU prepares for Cuse or IU.

Let's hope we're not Leon Spinks...

And they have a Final Four coach. Inexcusable.

I don't disagree, and MU probably the better team, but doesn't mean that injuries, illness, etc. aren't a big reason they were unprepared. But, again who the hell cares? MU won easily and has a game Saturday.
