This caught my eye .. It's a product called MagicSports .. with a TV card in your PC, it'll record shows .. no big deal there.

But what's cool is that it can analyze the game, and squeeze a football game, for example, down to 20 minutes of highlights.  It does this by (somehow) analyzing things like crowd noise (higher = bigger highlight) or a 3rd and long to a 1st and 10 = big play.  Or a change in possession (interception, fumble, score.)

It currently "knows" how to do football, soccer, baseball, and sumo wrestling.

No basketball yet.  That'd be cool.

Sumo Wrestling? Wow, out of left-field there?

.. come to think of it .. isn't Sumo Wrestling over in about 2 minutes anyhow?  Are there actual highlights, other than the entire thing?
