I didn't see the game tonight to say this, but tonight just confirms, what was all the fuss over Miami?? They just don't scare me. MU would drive to the hole at will against them.

They do have some shot blockers.

How dirty is Paul?  First the flapping arm BS at the free throw line, then the worst flop attempt I've ever seen...

Does Illinois look pretty long to you? Wonder if that would cause us much problems

Junior is going to have a tough time guarding either Paul or Larkin - not a good match up in the point guard area against either team.

Illini and especially Paul are so streaky. Some huge wins this year, some baffling loses. Can they hang on? Canes unraveling a bit here late.

Everyone of those Paul highlights with the drive to the hoop with the right hand.  B1G teams took that away...Miami not prepared.

From watching Illinois al year long heres what I see. Everybody knows about Paul, hes a better shooting Vander. DJ Richardson has probably gotten worse since his freshman year but hes still a damn good shooter, put Trent on him. Next Abrams is a solid PG has the ability to shoot the ball also. Egwu is a tremendous shot blocker and rebounder and pretty good at putbacks. Has a decent mid-range game. Griffey is a great shooter, not good on D and not a good rebounder. They usually only play two guys off the bench. McLaren. Not an offensive threat whatsoever and Bertrand is a pure scorer when hes on. He can score many different ways.

I'd prefer Illinois because Buzz has a great treat record of taking away a teams best option or two and having the rest of the team try to beat you. I think Miami has more scorers.

I won't make any bold predictions just yet, but I will say that I am much more confident playing the Miami v. Illinois winner than I would be if we were playing the Duke v. Creighton winner.

Hope Illinois can pull this out.  Damn Larkin and his big 3.

Miami has more size too.  I don't know if I like that.

Wow.  Not reviewable.  You can review a flagrant one that occurred 20 seconds before a clock stoppage, but not this.

How does the baseline ref not make that call or over rule the sideline official? There's no way the sideline official could make that call.

Ok, I will make one prediction. This officiating crew will not be working the final four.

Surprise this was not posted ... They ran a graphic that Illinois has had at least 1 player from Peoria for the last 20 straight years.  I don't think MU can say that about Milwaukee!
