I'd put Vander on Larkin. His size will bother him.

Is it me or is this a really boring game?  Plus these highlighter colors are really annoying.

Well, we are a little spoiled this year.

Illinois seems very streaky.

Do they get to go back to the hotel or flying back right after the game?

True.  However, I haven't been very impressed by either team thus far.  We'll see what the second half looks like....

Yet, like Clarke, all right handed.

I think they have a steak at Yellow Rose after the game.

But with no inside game to counteract their perimeter game.

Most underrated improvement in Vander's game, the ability to finish with his left.  Game winner against Davidson was succesful because they designed it against tendency and got Cohen leaning left assuming Vander would go to his right, not left.

It won't be hard to make more free throws than the opposition attempts.

Half time: no free throws made yet.

They are in for a rude awakening.

Junior is going to have a tough time guarding either Paul or Larkin - not a good match up in the point guard area against either team.

Abrams does a heavy bulk of the point duties. That's who junior would guard. Vander and Trent would take the Paul/Richardson combo
Lazar picking up where the BIG 3 left off....

Pulling for Illinois for their shallow bench... We've got to just wear them out they only play 7 deep

Read today that Larkin was originally a DePaul commit. Larkin followed Purnell who recruited him at Clemson. Larkin even took some summer classes before bailing for Miami.

That's true, and understandably they still talk about what a huge set-back that was.

Miami just attacks the glass- bodies flying.

Miami is soft...the ACC isn't exactly known for it's physicality. That be in for a rude awakening vs. MU.

I see that Shaw kid that we recruited so hard (until Buzz cooled on him) who selected IL has not broken into the rotation. I wonder what the problem is.

And is that right- those were the first two free throw attempts by the Illini w 10 minutes left in second half?  How is that possible with Paul?

I didn't see the game tonight to say this, but tonight just confirms, what was all the fuss over Miami?? They just don't scare me. MU would drive to the hole at will against them.

I can't tell by watching this game who I would prefer MU to play on Thursday - I think MU will have its hands full with both teams.
