They're the team u wanna watch out for that makes the FF outta no where

ChicosBailBonds

I will gladly sign up to part with your money if you wish.  Game's already started and ISU already has the lead...I'm spotting you points....what's the bet?

chapman

Already looking ahead and forward to the Arizona / OSU matchup.

brewcity77

I think this game is a toss-up. Ohio State has some weaknesses and ISU is exploiting them well. I think this game will come down to second-half coaching more than anything else.

If ISU wins, the best possible seed that could come out of the West is Arizona at the 6-seed. I imagine whomever comes out of the Midwest will be salivating at that prospect in the Final Four.

brewcity77

From down 13, ISU now has a FT to tie the game less than 2:00 later. This is a fun team to watch.

RushmoreAcademy

Onions!
Huge three to take the lead for Iowa St. 3 min to go.

Chicos' Buzz Scandal Countdown

This is nuts... Thought I'd be able to get some stuff done before the Miami Illinois game , but this is ruining that plan.
"Half a billion we used to do about every two months...or as my old boss would say, 'you're on the hook for $8 million a day come hell or high water-.    Never missed in 6 years." - Chico apropos of nothing

brewcity77

Great game! Much better start to the day than those clunkers yesterday.

RushmoreAcademy

Not sure about that charge call........ awfully close....

brewcity77

Yeah, that "hovering foot" is kind of questionable. Craft not shooting very well at the line, he's had chances to ice this and failed consistently.

ecompt

Nice scheduling by the NCAA. Does every Big Ten team play all its game in-state? Michigan and Michigan State play four games in Michigan, Ohio State two in Dayton. Ridiculous.

In all fairness, they were the top of their seed line on the S-Curve, so they stayed close to home.

Guess 3's are easier than FTs.

RushmoreAcademy

I did not think that was going when it left his hands.

No college team has had more heartbreaking losses than the Cyclones this year....I would so hate to be a fan of tbeirs rigbt now

Didnt know you could lean backwards and get a charge

Funny that no charge call against Kansas was about 34 times more a charge than the Charge Call against them

Chicos' Buzz Scandal Countdown

OSU just got lucky, was outplayed, and Thad Matta was out coached

Get a top seed, play close to home.  Except now OSU goes to LA where it's advantage Zona, Michigan goes to Texas where Kansas would have the edge, MSU stays close in Indy but it's close for Louisville as well.

Perhaps they can be bigger than GU and UW fans and avoid immature whining about teams that are still around.

There's no question about it... incorrect call by the official.  I'm not quite in Sir Charles' camp, but he's making a good point.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Not only that, he came underneath him when it was in the air.  A call that referees routinely blow.

Close to home is one thing, playing in your own state is simply the NCAA saying we need ticket money. How many tournament games has Marquette played in its own state since Al came? I believe four. And that's in 48 years.

I don't know, ecompt, most of the regions are sold out even before the seedings come out.

MU hasn't played in the state because only MU has hosted the NCAA tournament since 1985...Madison doesn't have the hotel  space and is basically eliminated from ever hosting because of that.
