Always looking for new apps, one that I found is great for keeping up with all your specific teams and players that you root for is "the score" app. 

Any apps out there that you especially like...for anything really?

Any Do is the best task I've every used for work. Its a task list with reminders and other stuff.

Flightview - for tracking real time flights

Yahoo Sportacular - best for watching real time scores

Flashlight - great for many uses

Storm Shield - for weather alerts (severe weather, tornados, etc.) you can modify each type

Itriage - finding hospitals, clinics, doctors, etc.  Gives directions, ratings, etc.  Great if not in your own town

Pick one local news station that has best graphics and select.
