I'm still a young'n compared a lot of you, but I've been following the team since the Pieper days.  I think that was the most emotionally draining (exciting) final minute of basketball I've watched from MU.  It was almost too good to be true.  Just amazing!

WellsstreetWanderer

Other than the pass to Jerome Whitehead Nothing comes close. Twice,  this season has been  put on his back and TWICE he has carried the team.

I disagree.  It was not that draining because I already Conceded defeat.

Did that honestly happen?

Still shocked...simply an amazing finish.  A 60 seconds of basketball I will never forget

What an end...my wife isn't a huge bball fan and I think she jumped higher than me.

What a memorable season now.  That justified it.

I go back to Deane's first year..

Most draining win...OK...maybe

That Stanford game was the most emotional draining loss I have ever watched.  I hate Lopez...

MU31

Stanford took me hours to come to terms with, it still hurts, (hate the Lopez twins) particularly unfortunate since I was hosting guests at the time who were not MU fans.  Washington. I still have the (now) empty beer bottle I happen to be drinking at the time. It was devastating.  My student years were from the era of Majerus and Dukiet so winning is still exciting to me.

Which no one with any ounce of brains was ever heard saying

chcsportsfan

Yeah, what about Louisville when we blew the 17 pt lead, Stanford or Washington in the tournament?  Those were much more emotionally draining for me.  At least we won this won.  The final minute was the least draining as that was when we started playing well.  It was exhilarating.

Markusquette

True guys. Totally agree on "win" as we've had some very tough losses.  I guess over time I got used to the losses especially.  I'm not used to watching us come back in that fashion.  It's still hard to fathom this ending.  Just each 3 was so timely and each time I was thinking of how I would react if we actually won, and we did it.

kcasper13

How about as draining as the Diener - Holy Cross win.  I hope it turns out as well as that did.

MUEng92

I honestly didn't think they had a chance until I saw the Davidson player stretch out for the pass on the sideline.

As they went the sidelines for the ref review, I tried to be a nice coworker and take the headphones out of my Itouch so my coworker could hear the call of the last play too.  At that point the March Madness app froze!

Before I could close it and get back to the game audio, my computer monitor, which was on GameTracker showed that MU had taken the lead.  So, we missed the whole V.B. play.  Most surprising part of the result of this game is that my Itouch is still intact.

MauraDay

I was at Missouri '03 game in Indy, and I think that was the most draining game I have ever been at.

How about Lazar steping over the end line four years ago against mizzou that was painful

Bet you'll never be that nice again during a close game.....
