I feel like I am the only person who does not fill out a bracket.  I probably would if Marquette is not playing but i cant justify putting good money down and than having to pick against Marquette at some point.

Anyone else feel the same way?

I deal with it by picking MU to win.  I'm a joke in my brackets every year (until this year!), but I'm happy.

I filled them out for years and even won a couple.    I quit the year MU faced Sparty.    I couldn't fill out a bracket with MU playing my favorite non-MU team, knowing MU was going to lose without Jerel.   I finally started back up last year.

I usually pick against MU, so if they lose, I don't get the double whammy of a loss in my bracket too. Though I did pick them to the S16 last season.

I don't think I'm gonna do a bracket this year, which will be the first time I can say that in decades.

Just don't feel like it. How's that for a reason?

How about this question: When you guys fill out multiple brackets for diffrent pools do you enter the same one or switch it up? I always struggle with this and recently I've been doing completely diffrent brackets for each pool.

One bracket.  I spend about three minutes filling it out, and I go balls out cause you're not going to win your pool picking Louisville with everyone else.

Filling out brackets is like fantasy football. It is good to have one, but the people who are into join 6 leagues/brackets, then brag how awesome they did. Takes the fun out of it. Stick to one bracket and let them play out.

Disagree.  Think of it like diversifying your investments.  Odds are, if you don't suck, that one of your leagues/brackets will do well, thus providing you maximum enjoyment.  If you put all of your eggs in one basket, you've only got one shot.

Kenosha Warrior... I've seen your posts and feel that you have enough stress in your life.  I think you have made a wise decision for the sake of your disposition.   If more followed your lead and didn't fill out a bracket, March Madness would be re coined March Sanity.
I play a $10 work bracket.  I start automatic $1 contributions to my money market every June so I can justify putting down good money when I choose Marquette to advance to the Elite 8.
