Analysis of Nik Cochran’s outside shooting

Written by: Andrei Greska

In reading Mark's detailed scouting report of Davidson on Monday, I couldn't help but sit in awe of Nik Cochran. Yes, his free-throw shooting is Novakian, going 112-119 this season for a ridiculous 94.1 percent accuracy, but it was his ... Continue reading →

Well done. Thanks.

Hopefully we just make Blue and Wilson face guard him all day.

Very high school, but I agree. I was clamoring for MU to do the same to Connaughton and they refused.

I remember in the Cincinnati game Buzz put Mayo in to face guard Kilpatrick and finally slow his scoring down.  That worked very well.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

I still can't comprehend why we didn't do something to that effect against Connaughton.

That did not work particularly well, if you ask me.  It certainly stopped Kilpatrick from scoring, but the other guys scored in his place.  I'm pretty sure Cincy scored at a better clip when we did that, which is perhaps why we didn't do it with Conaughton.
