I think you are over stating it but I am actually amazed at how bizarre some of those girls look. I just grabbed some pics, assuming they were all world talent. The bit about The Cheerleader Effect is spot on, by the way.

Ehh, I don't know about overstating it.  More than 2 of them are physically fit...but then they have some horse teeth going on (or worse).  Kinda nasty, if you ask me.

37-37 after reg.  SH scored 8 straight just to tie and they were in the 20's.  Just a brutal game to watch and Cuse will destroy either team.
