Good.   (A)  No one can complain we should have stayed one more year because at least we could have played ND.   (B)  We can do away with the equally dumb idea of renting ND for a year.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

Here we go again, ESPN calling the football schools the Big East.

Legally, they still are.  They make clarifications later regarding the name.

Someone tell the morons at ESPN that WE are the Big East. Refer to the football schools as Conference X until they make America 12 official.

Idiots. They're probably too busy tracking Timmy Tebow or preparing for Michael Jordan's 51st birthday.

We are not the Big East yet, ESPN is 100% correct.

I do wish they would starting referring to the conferences appropriately now. C7/Big East is not losing ND.  Remaining Football Schools are losing ND.

But I'm sure ESPN is okay with the ambiguity.  Think about it, Fox is establishing ESPN's first real competitor, taking the C7/New Big East.  What is holding ESPN back from adding a little confusion and downplay the Big East significance?  Make it out to be a lesser value product.

The Big East as it is currently is officially the Big East until July 1st. On that day the C7 remain in the new Big East and the others become conference whatever.

"Conference Whatever."  I like it.

Should probably check to see if any law firms registered that as a domain.

I still think it's a mistake for ND to join the new big east. They would be a perfect addition.

Here's hoping the deal for an annual home-and-home is already agreed on.

Isn't that why MU hired LW?
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Ditto. It's my favorite regular-season game of the year and has been since I was a freshman. It's so much fun to hate ND.

Since they were talking about the Big East in the past, aren't they 100% correct? 1. We are still in the Big East. 2. We probably were part of the negotiations even if we had no say if this was before the decision to part.

Someone should tell the morons here that the split doesn't take into effect yet. Or did I miss something and we aren't allowing UL and others to play in the BEast Tourney?
