Gameday is at Georgetown today and has made a big deal of them being able to win the championship, they at least mentioned and predicted the ND/Louisville game and the fact that they could win a share as well. The only mention of Marquette was one line that we are also tied, no mention of the game or that we can win a share or the title outright.

I feel like the Rodney Dangerfield of college basketball, just can't get no respect.

TallTitan34

If we will they will mention us  ;D

macman320

I thought the same thing about no mention. They love the Syracuse-Gtown rivalry which is of course understandable. As for Louisville, Buzz just must not be as famous or infamous as slick Rick.

I noticed it, but oh well. Win today and we'll get the respect.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

My suggestion is to sit back, have a

And enjoy.  Our matchup is against a team without two of their top players, so why would **** care?
Relax. Respect the Process.

I wasn't expecting anything huge but thought we would get something since we are on ESPN today.

I think our problem, which is a good problem to have, is that we have no players that are leading the country in scoring, rebounding etc. We are greater than the sum of our parts which does not make headlines.

+1  You just made the case for Buzz as COY.

ChicosBailBonds

A couple of things.

Considering St. John's is decimated with player subtractions right now, I believe they just feel MU winning is a forgone conclusion.

This is the last game between Syracuse and G'Town in what has been a historic matchup over the years, so the love will definitely go there.

It's still a Big East road game so I am taking nothing for granted.

The fact that 3 teams tied for the title might have something to do with lack of coverage. Awesome as it is, it's not a unique accomplishment this year.

The fact that the tie-breakers immediately show up in the seeding of the Big East tourney, may have something to do with it.

I didn't expect much, and I'm usually one of the don't-shoot-the-messenger guys on this site. But ...

Even I felt a little p-o-ed when they gave the Louisville-ND game a coupla minutes and talked about Louisville having a chance to share the title.

I have been one of the biggest complainers about our Rodney danger field treatment as well.  But sportscenter tonight SVP gave it up for MU.  I was pleased.

I was glad to see some love later in the day. I also felt justified in my thoughts during gameday when Buzz in his postgame said we don't get the respect we deserve and that ESPN didn't even know we were playing for a share of the title.
