This may be a stupid question, but are seeds locked into the locations on bracketology? Just asking because it looks like there aren't any 4 seeds in Dayton or Lexington.

Kind of.

The 1/16 games and 8/9 games have to go together, but there's no requirement for any seed to be anywhere. All based on best location for the top seeds.

Each location is simply guaranteed 2 'pods'.  Those pods are lead by a 1-4 seed and can be in any region headed to any of the 4 Sweet 16 locations the following weekend.  So one might see a #2 and #4 pod or a #1 and #2, etc.  Be very surprised if any location had two #1 pods. (Bad for $$$ on lots of levels.)

Also, if you are a top 3 seed they try to keep you as close to home as possible, as long as you are not playing in your home arena.

So two 1 seeds can play the first weekend at the same location if it is closest.
