I wonder why the Catholic church restricts half of the population and doesn't allow women to be part of the leadership. That's probably healthy.

Just telling the truth.  It was the worst golf outing of my life and he being a Purdue guy and I an IU guy, he let me have it in our 5 some.  He's a scratch golfer. We spent a long time talking about the Jim Rome episode...rather fascinating conversation.  So if I were to say something about the incident without the context, one of you would say something like "how do you know how he felt"?  To which then I would have said, because he told me in the 6 hours of golf we played (Jim Kelly played in front of us and I think Kosar or Marino...a lot of hacking going on which made for very long rounds).  Damned if I do and damned if I don't...I'd rather be honest and just tell it like it was, you're going to bash no matter what.

Reminds me of a post here a few years ago about a certain team and their AD, Fred Glass.  When I said I had heard from sources directly that that school and coach had a 5 year plan to get back on top....widely ridiculed for posting that.  Hmmm, how did that turn out?  I'm glad I put the full context in because if you don't around here, you are accused of making stuff up...which I clearly wasn't and ultimately was proven right these last few months.

Pretty sure everyone knows how Jim Everett felt about that Rome experience.  It's one of the most played sports journalism gone wrong clips out there.  Who would have "called you out" on that?  Victim card.  And way to squeeze in a couple more names plus a non sequitur IU/Crean rant at the end.  Bravo.

They wouldn't do it because it's a dumb move.  Honestly, what does questioning a players toughness by calling him a girl's name accomplish?  I think the last time I pulled that move was 7th grade.
