Up by 10 under 10. This one has the stench of an upset all over it.

If Purdue would make a FT they could have iced this by now. Thank God UW can't make a shot at the other end.

Up 11 under 2.

Holy Cow, Will create some space in top 25 ahead of us.  Moving on up....

Streaming out of Kohl with a minute to go.  Wow, not gonna help Madison's seed.

ChicosBailBonds

I see a lot of empty seats with a few minutes left and people heading to the exits (channeling Badger nutjobs on their board)

Doesn't help us in the long run though. We would probably be better off if the Badgers win out.

warriorstrack

Probably, but dejected UW students on NATIONAL TV is priceless

Lots of upsets. I was thinking we should break into top 15.

I'd not worry about a technical RPI calculation at this point.  This pushes Bucky off the #4 line for sure.  BAD home loss.

Less than 9,000 on senior night?  Come on, Badger fans.  Maybe more will show up when Wisconsin gets a high major coach

So we won on national TV while the rodents got embarrassed on national TV something is wrong...

Why do we care so much about Badger basketball?? We beat em during Badger hate week, that should be it.

madtownwarrior

But were they efficient in the loss?   they will probably move up in KenPom.

I agree with this. Right now we are potentially competing with Bucky for a 4.  I think this year in particular it is really important for teams to avoid the 5-line.  I see bad things happening to 5-seeds this year.

If they drop to the 5, someone has to move up to the 4.  Right now we are one of those team jockeying for position, so a Bucky loss helps us more than an RPI gain.

Because it's fun reveling in their losses and tasting their tears of unfathomable sadness.

And, we want to make sure that we stay ahead of Wisconsin, as they are one of our biggest oppositions to getting a decent opening round pod assignment instead of getting shipped somewhere out west.  This was a really good result for us because of that, since they've been creeping up on us in the S-curve.

Stone was in the building too.

So in a week he watches Marquette win against 'Cuse and Bucky lose to Purdue.

tower912

Losing a home game to Purdue!   Inexcusable.    Wheeeeeee!    With MU's two wins this week, we have to move ahead of them in the polls and the projected brackets.    Pomeroy probably moves Wiscy up, though.    If MU wins out, I like our chances at a 3 seed.
