GGGG

The first, and last, A10 meeting between the two schools.

TSmith34, Inc.

Would love for Buzz, Stevens, and Smart be for the new Big East what Boeheim, Calhoun, and Thompson were for the original Big East.

If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

Think VCU was playing for some consideration of that 10th spot in the C7/B-East 2.0???

Aughnanure

Watched a lot of the first half and VCU gets away with murder with their 'havoc' pressure. Just plain mug, grab, and reach in at an incredible rate for never getting called. I know we all do it, but jeez is their success in the court highly dependent on how the refs call the game.

If you play intense defense game after game, refs will start letting you get away with murder.

And that's why refs are a problem. "Intense" is not a word I would use to describe that D.

Fear the Havoc!    That is not a team I want to see in the same part of the bracket as MU.

You forgot Lou, Rollie, PJ, and Slick Rick

The Big East had an incredible stable of coaches on board and during the early years.

Marquette was asked to be an original member of the Big East. Man, what a bone headed decision.

The C7 Big East got some love this morning on a special Sat. morning edition of Mike Francesca on WFAN.  One of the reasons he cited why the league would be good is because of the number of great young coaches.

Incorrect.
Rutgers, Villanova and Holy Cross were the only original invitees to say no.
We are..............St. John's.
