That idiot Ellerson was spouting off about how Bo Ryan and the badgers are a better place for athletes to show off their talent.  His sidekick of course agreed with him and they both said that if Jamil Wilson was on the badgers he would be a lottery pick this year.

Other than easy access to attending games, man is it easier to live outside of Wisconsin when you are a Marquette fan.  The rest of us (non-Wisconsinites) live a peaceful, blissful existence.

I like the state of Wisconsin, but the fans...no thanks.  Drunk on stupid when it comes to the Badgers, Packers, Etc.....which is not exclusive to that state, many states are like that.

The objective is to attract attention to yourself.  You do that by saying stupid stuff.  Mission accomplished.

Couldn't agree more. Love not having to deal with those Becky Kool-Aid drinkers. I understand that all universities have their idiot fans, but there is something about UWers that drives me crazy. They're worse than ND backers. At least ND has a rich history of success. I'll cut their fans a little slack. UW? Not even close. So glad I'm not surrounded by them on the West Coast.

Chuck and wickett the other morning said buzz was too good to come on their show.  Then chuck went on a rant that buzz will be leaving for Texas next year.

For the life of me I cant understand why buzz wouldn't come in their show.

Yeah, they had Gottlieb on the other day and at the end they asked if Buzz would be leaving after this year. Gottlieb said "Buzz is pretty well entrenched in there" but the Texas job would be his dream gig before adding that Barnes won't get fired this year.

That's why I listen to the SCORE on my drive to and from work - even tho' I'm a Brewer, Packer, Warrior fan.

I was really looking forward to getting away from them when I moved to Denver and it turns out that half of my group of friends are either alumni or wish they were alumni. It's so annoying.

Yeah. I live in MN and listen to their news/sports even though tunein radio can deliver the MKE goods. I like bill michaels during packer season but the rest are pretty bad. It gave chuck and wicket several tries, whoever is the sidekick is the worst radio host I've ever heard.

My advice would to stop listening to 1250 AM.

Why the Packer fans slam?  Perhaps the most polite, knowledgable fans around. Don't be a hater, CBB.

As a Packers fan, I politely disagree.

Respectfully, Sir, having married into a Green Bay family, I could not disagree more.

So, issue is taken with the polite, or the knowledgable, or both?

I've given Lambeau tickets to my friends from Chicago, Twin Cities, Indy, and Jets fans.  All have been blown away by the friendly folks in Green Bay.  I've been to Soldier Field and can't report the same.

In my experience, other teams fans get treated well at Lambeau if they don't go in there running their mouths, which makes it a lot like, oh, I don't know, every single other place to watch a game as a fan of the away team.

You missed the abuse the Syracuse fans took at the game last night.

I bet if they asked Trevon Hughes that question, he would disagree.

One of Bo's worst coaching decisions was to have Brian Butch's ulna go through his shoulder blade on the day they were ranked #1 in Columbus.

And later on in summer league play when he was about to go to an NBA camp Bo decided to blow out his knee. ::)

LOL!  You're trying to defend Bo's development of Butch?  He took a 7 foot McDonald's All American, redshirted him, completely remade his body, and remade his game.  Foolish.  All he had to do was develop his skills, not remake a new player.  Bo completely ruined him and any chance he had of playing in the NBA.  If you watched Brian Butch at all in college and know anything about the NBA and basketball in general you know damn well Butch was not playing in the NBA regardless of injuries or not.  5 years in college and he was worse his senior year than when he was in high school.

Packer fans are the worst in the NFL. Been at Marquette for 1.5 years now. Keep to myself during football games and still get crap talked to me just because im a Bears fan. They really dont shut up. On the topic at hand though really glad I live in Chicago and not anywhere in Wisconsin.
