Gameday is at Lexington for the Game against Missouri ... Kentucky has no votes and is now on the bubble looking out while Missouri is among the other receiving votes (4) on the bubble looking in.  Preseason Kentucky was #3 and Missouri was #15 so making this a gameday stop last fall seemed like a good idea.  Today, however, Butler/St. Louis was a much higher ranked game.  Who Knew

Now we have Eastern Kentucky/Valpo on ESPNU instead of #2 Miami struggling against Wake Forest.

I understand that the games and gameday stops are made in the fall but no one can predict the future.  So, why doesn't ESPN have more flex scheduling especially later the year to go the better match-ups?  How about a shorter hook on blow-outs to go to games that are close?

The Valpo game is on because of BracketBusters. Obligated to stay with it, I presume.

Mr. Nielsen

I watch most of the Miami-Wake game on ESPN Buzzerbeater.
If we are all thinking alike, we're not thinking at all. It's OK to disagree. Just don't be disagreeable.

Why in the world did CBS pick to show Georgia-South Carolina? You knew in fall this would be a dog of a game.

This year, anyway.  Perhaps one of the reasons why they're scrapping it...aside from maybe one premiere game, the ongoing major conference slate is still a better draw even during BB weekend.

Illustrates how difficult it is for even major networks to get quality sporting events on a consistent basis. That's why big dollars are being doled out for these contracts with major conferences. Time for the C7+ to cash in.

Why doesn't GameDay decide their location one week ahead like they do in football?
