SUGGESTION regarding images in posts

I've been seeing a lot of scantily clad GIFs/images in posts and signatures lately. Not explicit but definitely NSFW. I like to check in on Scoop a couple times a day at work. Unfortunately, I am not really comfortable doing this anymore, with the computer screen pretty much open to anyone walking by my cube. I'll click on what I think is a basketball related thread (the recent one on Andy Katz, the C7 and Georgetown, for example), and get a next to naked picture staring at me and anyone else walking by. Fortunately, nothing bad has happened with this yet. But I'm to the point where I don't want to check scoop at work anymore. How does everyone else feel about this? Is it really necessary to post that stuff here? There's plenty of other places on the net to find it if I want to. I realize I sound like a prude, I'd just like to be able to check this at work once in a while.

There is a box you can check somewhere to Hide signatures.  That should clear up most of the issues I would think.

nevermind, I just looked at that thread, hiding signatures won't help.

I think this is the key statement. People should be free to post whatever they want, but I think some posters can come off as creeps. For instance, the old Florida threads that consisted of scantily clad who-res. What is the point of even posting that stuff?

Firstly .. sorry, I turned off signatures a long time ago.  I have no idea what filth people are posting.  I would recommend you do the same!

.. I rarely see pictures of girls .. I hadn't seen the one in the C7 thread, and agree, we'd like to keep Scoop .. SFW.   Duhleted.

Instead of posting a pic, it would be just as easy to post a link to a pic with a NSFW disclaimer.
