So, in an open scrimmage, who do you suppose wins, the starting 5 (Cadougan, Blue, Lockett, Anderson, Otule), or the next 5 (DWilson, JWilson, Mayo, Gardner, Taylor)?   I pick the starters because Blue takes over.   Otule's defense neutralizes Gardner's offense.   JWilson commits two quick silly fouls and either Ferguson or Taylor subs in for him.
I would definitely put MU's bench up against anybody else's.

I get that.   Throw in some Jesus and bad jokes...

That'd be a fun game to watch.

And I think this highlights the importance of the team's health and Mayo's return.  You have starters playing against two really good defenders in DWilson and Mayo, scoring that can happen from any position, and generally similar size to our opponents (which we've lacked in the past).  Plus it helps the development of someone like Taylor.
+1 for depth.
I'm like a turtle, sometimes I get run over by a semi.
