Ellis with a really good comment on Blue after he hit the pullup J - that would have been a play last year where he put his head down and drove right into traffic, this year he pulls up for the jumper.

Anderson and Blue are night and day from where they were last year, and Taylor is already starting to look like he gets it.  This team is going to be REALLY good next year.  For now I'm just enjoying watching all the players improve.

Made a nice play on the underplay steal and like that he fires the zone jumper immediately. Really looking forward to his development playing alongside the babies next year.

I wish MU would cut down on their 3 attempts because they are not that great a 3 point shooting team. Hopefully they will be more judicious with it in the 2nd half.

Told my son tonight that ST will be beast in years to come. With a few years of strength and conditioning with his frame and skills he will be formidable on the court.

Look at his height & frame then think about what two to three more years with Todd Smith will do.  Then look at his natural rebounding instincts, soft touch around the rim, and outside shooting ability.  Then look at how the stretch 4 has been featured in Buzz's offense with players like Hayward & Crowder.  If I had to pick one player from this squad to make the league, I'm putting my money on Taylor.

You said you would be SHOCKED if he didn't make it to the league. Plenty of guys never make it to the league, doesn't mean they are not gonna be great college players. Look at DJ and McNeal. I think we should temper our enthusiasm and predictions until he does more than being a spark off the bench. If I would have to guess, I would think most players who make it to the league have a bigger impact their freshman year.
