Agreed with Junior.  Great game.

Calvin:  I'm a genius.  But I'm a misunderstood genius.
Hobbes:  What's misunderstood about you?
Calvin:  Nobody thinks I'm a genius.

Junior.

Definitely not the bat.  The bat was a horrible momentum shifter for us.  We'd scored, like 7 unanswered points prior to the bat.  Then post bat, Prov scored about the next 5 -7 points.

I'm thinking that Providence smuggled the da#ned bat into the Bradley Center.
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

Davante. Solid all-around line, but showed more heart and hustle on defense when he got back to set up Junior's swat than I've ever seen from him.

Yes, he was trailing the play, but it's not like Junior was pushing the pace before the turnover. DG was doing just what he should do and when he saw the turnover, he bolted back and made sure that the Providence player wouldn't have a clear line to the rim. Did just enough to buy time for Junior to make the big block, but that play was all Davante all day. Love seeing his defensive improvement.

You are nuts.   ::)  Calling a guy the SOTG because he finally makes a hustle play he should be making anyway?  Junior or Lockett.

No more nuts than Buzz jumping out of his skin and sitting on the scorer's table clapping when Vander took his first charge a couple games ago.

Probably true, although I don't remember anyone saying Blue should be SOTG 'cause he finally took one.  It's expected that he should be taking charges...it's expected that DG should hustle on D.  Not stud-worthy.

I surpised that no one is mentioning Blue. Buzz thought it was his best game ever. However, I am going to vote for Junior just because of the move he made in the first half on the fast break after a steal.

The Bat.

10 years from now, he's the thing most remembers from the game.

The Bat and only the Bat

Eh....Blue defended very well, but his offense was pretty poor.

Junior. Nice all-around game and awesome alley-oop pass to Jamil.

I am with those who thought it was one of Lockett's better games as a Warrior Eagle.

Nice team effort, with Juan, Taylor, Davante, Vander and Jamil all having their moments.

Jr.  From the moment he got that block it had to be him.

Junior! Steve Taylor and Juan with a Shout out!

T-Bone

Everyone played pretty well.

Junior did everything that a SENIOR POINT GUARD should do.  Leadership, taking smart shots, Derrick Wilson-esque on ball defense, making good decisions.
