Not even close.  It's embarrassing when they announce the "6th man" as "The best student section in the nation."  Regardless of whether one thinks the MU student section is good or awful, we all know it's not the best in the nation.

I've seen years where it been really really good but this years crowd seems like they don't wanna cheer or jump around as much.  But out of school spirit I still voted

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa...

I'll say it again, I'm impressed with how the student section has been this year.  Hell of a lot more energy than when I was there and it's been better than places Marquette has visited like "the zoo" (which was more like a museum).

Yeah, I agree. It's not the best student section in the country, but it's much better this year than it's been in recent memory.
