30th?

Decent enough guess. Not too far down as an OT loss to a comparable team isn't a 'bad' loss.

Don't...care.

Let's just win the next couple home games, go to Louisville 8-1, and take our best shot at them.  All that matters is if we're ranked in the field of 65 at the end of the season.

20, 23, 24, 27, 28, 30, 31, and 32 all lost. Of those teams, you could even say we had the best week, getting a win and losing to #26 on the road in overtime. We could stay at 25, it's even possible we could move up.

We're all very happy you don't care, don't respond then. 8 point dogs on the road shouldn't drop a team much at all. I'll say 28.

I know being ranked doesn't "matter," but I do care. I want our game to be on the main ESPN crawl and I want our highlights on SportsCenter. So I hope brew is right and we stay ranked. I think there's a good chance of it.

I think there will be only 2 new teams in the top 25 this week.  Illinois (23 and in a tailspin) and UCLA (24) will drop out.  Don't think ND (20) will drop all the way out with the loss at SJU.

26 should move up (and since that team is Cincinnati, they should move ahead of us).

27 and 28 are UConn and GTown, both losing and both having earlier lost to us, so I don't see them jumping ahead.  WI is 31, and they could have jumped due to win over IU until losing yesterday to the other Iowa.

I have us staying at 25 and Cincinnati, Ole Miss (29) and ND in the mix for 22-24.

So says legs.  Too much time on my hands today, clearly.

Nukem2

Stay at 25.  MU did go up nicely in the Pomeroy and Sagarin ratings after last nights loss, FWIW....

More important, I'm interested to see if it affects our projected seed when the mock brackets come out Tuesday. Last week we were 7-9 range, wouldn't be surprised if we stay right there or see ourselves in the 10-11 spots in a few. We were 30th on lunardis s curve, so probably still right around there.

🏀

You guys all playing on the team these days?

Really? We're going here again?

Fans are allowed to say "we," especially those who attended the school they root for.

We ARE Marquette. That is true.

PTM- I feel that your alma mater is the one time that one can say "we" about a team.  I know it annoys some people (Dan Bernstein is insufferable on the point), but it's how I feel and it just feels much more natural than calling the team they or MU all the time.

Absolutely!!  $50K in tuition, room and board says I can say WE as well.  Nowadays it has to be well over $100K.

WE WE WE!!

28th in the polls is my pick.
