Marquette not on schedule for UWGB

They released their schedule yesterday and Marquette is not on it... they play the Badgers, Ohio State and Michigan State however... a tough schedule

interesting, i think maybe the deal was to wait a year or so before we started a series with them...my memory isn't serving me right so does anyone know what the details are with uwgb?  we are playing uwm this year correct?

I believe you are correct about uwm.  I am pretty sure the women's team has a deal w/ uwgb but i didn't really think the men's team was that serious about a deal being struck.  if it does come, it will be either next year or the following i would venture to say.

When MU put it out in the public that they made the 4 for 1 offers to both UWM and UWGB someone from GB explicitly stated that if they were to agree to the deal that it wouldn't start this season due to them already having too many good high majors on the skid.  I'm not sure if they actually agreed to anything or not.

I think most Marquette basketball fans like to know who they are playing, whether that is a UW school or otherwise. 

In addition, when I went there, I thought something like 52% of the kids that went there were from Wisconsin; I don't know if that has changed or not in 3 years, but that would make us the majority.

According to MU's web site, 42.3 of the student population is from Wisconsin.
