For the time-being, but overall, doesn't really matter much since we play each team once at home.

It is big for tie breakers with ND should something happen...I believe record vs. similar opponents is a thing.

This is true in the case of 3+ way tie. If its a 2 way tie, obviously it defaults to h2h and ND and MU only play once this year.

Yep, and MU vs. ND would be the real seeding tiebreaker if there's a three way tie between MU, ND, and UConn in the standings since UConn isn't invited to the Garden this year.

It'd be interesting to see how they handled a tie with UConn. Obviously the Huskies won't be at MSG, but say MU, UConn, and ND tied for 4th and head-to-head favored ND but the next tiebreaker (I believe common opponent) favored Marquette. Do you treat it as though all three are eligible and give MU the 4 or do you remove UConn from the equation before getting to tiebreakers?

Here's hoping we go undefeated in league play and it's all moot anyway.

Kind of sucks for Uconn they are not eligible for any post season. Coming into this year nothing was expected of them and when we played them they were not overly impressive but with two great guards they can play with a lot of teams and have a solid resume when little was expected.

I watched a lot of BE basketball today. I think this is the first year that Im not overly impressed with a single team. The conference has a lot of good teams but no one that looks far better than everyone else. UL may get there.

UL is way better.

Syracuse at full strength is way better.    But there is a lot of parity in the middle.

UL just cant ever stay healthy. Seems like whenever they are at full strngth, someone immediately gets hurt.

Syracuse is waaay too young. I think they are overrated this year.

PGsHeroes32

I actually agree. UL is really the only impressive team so far from an all around stand point. Uconn and some others have impressed for being a little better(Rutgers and Nova too) but no one really stands out. ND had been playing well then they lose this one and they lost to a pretty crappy St Bonny team early on.

Cincy lost 3 straight at home, Georgetown can't score. I also havn't been super impressed with Cuse yet but they will be more consistent then the rest.

3rd place is really up for grabs if we can starting scoring. This year the BE is a little Big10 like with most teams being far better on the D end.

Agree also. I wouldn't be surprised to see us handle Syracuse at home. They are very overrated. UL is a top team though.

Yup. But I think they lose a couple of games before we even play them. By then, it wont be as big of a game because they wont be top 10.
