Norm

I tuned in late and they said he was out for the whole 2nd half. What happened? Seemed like he was in good spirits and cheering the team on.

tower912

He rolled his left ankle landing on a Pitt player after a jump pass in the first half.   He got it retaped and played a couple of minutes more in the first half.    Looked like an ankle sprain.

Was definitely favoring it when he came back.  Buzz did have to box him out from checking back into the game in the second half.  Probably not serious.

Cadougan wanted to come back in, but I think Buzz decided to take his chances with D. Wilson and risk a longer injury to Cadougan.

Nothing a little Mr Miyagi action from his mom can't solve.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

I hate ESPN announcers. Made a celebrity of Jr's mom, talked more about the plaryers not in the game, shocked Gardner could play more than 20 minutes in a game.  Almost had to turn the volume off for 2nd half.

Who did the game for them today? Another reason to partner with Fox!

Well, the producer showed mama junior about 14 times in the first half to no mention from the announcers. That's more on the truck then Mowins/Welsh.

They were right to prattle on about Woodall. He's a difference maker.

And Gardner did looked gassed at the end so the point was relevant.

That said, they're not exactly the 'A' squad for ESPN's third tier channel so you can't expect smoothness.

Mowins and Welsh didn't comment about her looks, did they?

If you think about it, we were fortunate that D Wil bounced back from the collision with Woodall.  JC was certainly hobbled after turning the ankle.  That would have been tough with no pure PG.

I was actually concerned about the hit that Woodall took.  That was like a Mike Tyson shot right to the chin.  You could immediately tell when he returned to the bench that he had been concussed.  I hope he's okay because one never likes to see hits like that.  It was purely accidental so no fault to any player.  Feel better Tray.

Has there been any official word on this?  I expected it to be a much more popular topic than it appears to be...
The Flutie Effect: "A significant and positive correlation between a university having a successful team and higher quality of incoming freshmen, alumni donations, and graduation rates."

Sorry guys, found the answer to my own question in the already-posted JS article:

"On the court, point guard Junior Cadougan, who turned his ankle in the overtime victory Saturday at Pitt, should be ready to play Wednesday night at home against Seton Hall. Cadougan sat out the second half against the Panthers while Derrick Wilson directed the offense."

Good news.  Hadn't seen the update.  Thanks.

He was reportedly out and about on campus last night so all seems well.

MUMonster03

Thank god he will be back. Hadn't heard anything so was worried it would be the dredged high ankle sprain.

Gosh, I hope he was in a walking boot.  In the past, all the small injuries seemed to get the walking boot treatment.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

+1 our team does seem to have an obsession with walking boots.

Maybe we have a trainer that gets paid a commission for every boot we use?
