We need ACC

Forget all this talk about a "basketball only" conference for MU. Lets fight to get into the ACC with the other power teams. The ACC is truly a basketball driven conference.  Eith the exception of Florida State and North Carolina, ACC college football teams haven't been in a bowl game since MC Hammer was hot.(You can't touch this. That's all I know.) ACC has all the heavy hitters in bball and that's where we need to be.

Like a 4 year old holding his breath until he gets his way, why don't you notify the proper authorities and then refuse to post until one of the BCS conferences take a basketball-only school.   We'll wait.

No, we don't. We don't have a football program. Every school in the ACC has a D1 football program. Every school that has been invited to the ACC has a D1 football program. The only one not joining as a full member has a more marketable football program than any school in ACC history and is only joining because they made an agreement to play 5 games against ACC schools every year. So unless you are fronting the $100M for Marquette's football program, let's stick with reality.

Go back to being an independent. Any conference will have crap teams. If we go independent we can play Duke one week, UConn the next, Kentucky, Wisconsin, UCLA, no need to ever play bad teams. If Notre Dame can get to the BCS Championship as a football independent, there's no reason we can't reach the Final Four the same way.
