I agree as well.  I attended the game with my son who is currently a Georgetown student.  He was very impressed with our student section, given the semester break, and the over all atmosphere in comparison to games at the Verizon Center.  Or he was simply being nice to the old man.  Either way.
Nope, he was accurate. Georgetown games are lacking in crowd enthusiasm unless they are playing Syracuse.

Son not a Warrior?

First a Buff.  Then a Badger.  Now a Hoya.  So he can ski circles around me, shops at Whole Foods, and now has D.C. plates.  I've failed as a parent.

Nicely done. One was Badger, one was Panther and soon will have two at MU. Time flies my friend.

Not sure what game you were attending on Saturday afternoon.....

I thought the crowd was decently engaged for a game held during Christmas break.  There were a crapload of timeouts and other delays towards the end, and I thought whoever was running the Jumbotron did a decent job given that he had run out of all the scheduled timeout bits.  I was rather entertained by the running gag of showing people wearing Packers jerseys (massive cheering by the crowd) alternating with one guy that was wearing a Viking jersey (massive booing).  Also a good call to include that guy's incredibly mortified girlfriend in the shot each time as well.

People needed the typical jumbotron antics because the game wasn't providing the entertainment. With most everyone in that building counting down minutes until the Packers game, the point was that the Rodgers clip running over and over and over and over and over and over was done because it was one of the two (three?) things to get people riled up.

Admittedly, I've been involved with most every great atmosphere over the last near two decades so my standards are probably out of sync with some here but disjointed ball, a team looking awful coming off two week break, half-filled upper deck with many seats open in lower deck, and semester break lead to a shoulder shrug experience.
