Dumb. But very bad game for Jr. He needs to be MUCH more consistent. He has an average game, we win by 8 or more.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

Junior did what he has been doing lately, driving hard to the basket, but G-town (A) kept fouling him without any calls and (B) were blocking and altering his shot after good drives.    Those shots have been falling lately and will against other teams.   I don't have a problem with any of his attempts.

He had 6 assists and 3 steals.  If people would have made lay-ups he would have had 10-12 assists.  He kept the offense in flow when he was in.  His bad plays were because he was doing what Buzz wants.  Get a paint touch on a dribble drive at hit the open man.

The other guys have to know where outlets are when people go to the hoop.  If there is no outlet, on a dribble drive you are stuck, can't pick up your dribble and no where to pass.

His shot didn't fall tonight, but he took only about 3 shots "he wanted to take" and wasn't forced to take, because of either late shot clock situations or no where to go with the ball.

3 TO's are too many.  Especially the horrible attempted pass to Blue on the Baseline.

This was an OK game for him, without his D and passing we lose this game by 6-8.

This fan agrees. Junior played as well as possible against an almost impenetrable defense and given his limitation of not being able to go to his left. A strong defensive opponent who over-plays Junior to his right is going to limit his scoring effectiveness.

I thought Junior had a very solid game, shooting aside. Matter of fact, I can't think of any player I thought played poorly. If you ask me, this was easily our best game of the season. Great, great game.

Agreed.  I honestly wonder if this type of tempo is more to this team's liking.  I guess we will see when we play Pitt.

<<<<<<<<One team leads the BE....at least for a couple of hours.  Great, great physical game where GU contested every shot at the rim with their bodies and wingspans. Didn't like the way we closed either half though...and I do say, Junior seems to get the ball at the end of the shot clock to launch a crap shot too often...and yesterday Gtown was daring him to use his left hand on his drives.  That video will be studied as MU makes their BE rounds.
