They need to fix the name on the back of his jersey, it is s. taylor Jr.  assuming because at one time we had TJ and him but TJ has been gone for 6 months.

LAMUfan

does he have an MU tattoo on his shoulder?  I've seen it a few times on TV, thought it was cool, I have a friend that says it was a fake tattoo, anyone know what the deal is?  He just might be my new favorite player if its real

MattyWarrior

He got it in Maui. Heard it was fake. At Simeon he was a workhorse, rarely missed a game and had very few bad games.
Played alot of center as a junior and senior to shut down the opponents big, Parker got most of the credit on the team
and last year was said to be a down year for talent in Chi-town so he didn't get much hype, but I was so stoked
when Buzz signed him..

TexMex

If that's the case. Put me in coach.

Niv Berkowitz

I love Taylor. He's currently a cross between Lazar-as-a-freshman, only with Trend Blackledge's athleticism/energy and the gait of Kevin Durant (when he's running up/down the court, he looks like Durant...and no I'm not saying they are similar players at all...just appearance-wise).

What defines a monster in your book?

25 minutes, 10 points and 8 boards a game from a starting Sophomore #4.  I see fairly regular double doubles by his upperclassman years.  I suppose the 'monster' reference is more related to his physical presence.  The young man is simply chisled.

Dunk The Ball Eric

Really glad we have him instead of Phillip Nolan, who I thought got abused by Gardner in the post a few times. All Nolan could do was foul, he knew it, so did Gardner.

mhendrick

love Taylor, would also like to see Ferguson playing over Thomas,

Not sure he will start next year, maybe but with Wilson, McKay and Anderson there next year, he will have to show improvement.  Time will tell. I do not see him in the monster mode yet,
because my definition and yours might be different.  A monster were guys like Maurice Lucas, Jim Chones, Jerome Whitehead, even David Boone physically he has a ways to go.

Not if you don't have easy access to the roster - such as if you are watching on TV.  It will be interesting to see exactly what they do next year when they will have 2 D. Wilsons on the team.

Du. Wilson and De. Wilson would be my guess.

"Monster" connotes dominance.

Kevin Durant was a monster as a college freshman. So was Derrick Rose.

Steve Taylor is showing potential. He has a long way to go to be a "monster," as do most players in college basketball.
